Following a successful trial run on the Madavara to Nagasandra stretch on August 6, 2024, Chikkabidarakallu Metro Station opened to the public on November 6, 2024, with commercial operations commencing the following day, November 7, 2024. Although no formal inauguration ceremony was held initially, an official ceremony is planned for a later date.
