Electronic City Metro Station

Description

The Electronic City Metro Station is an elevated station in the tech-savvy heart of Bengaluru, at the southern corridor of the yellow line of the Namma Metro Network. The construction of this station is complete but is expected to be operational by December 2024, with the opening of the yellow line.

While heading towards the RV Road metro station, you’ll find the Electronic City Metro Station after Huskuru Road and before Konappana Agrahara Metro Station. The Konappana Agrahara Metro Station heads towards the northern part of Bengaluru while moving towards Huskur Road connects you to the industrial hubs of Bommasandra, Attibele, and even Hosur in Tamil Nadu. Along the Yellow Line, you’ll also encounter two key interchange stations: Jayadeva Hospital for the Pink Line and RV Road for the Green Line, seamlessly linking various parts of the city.

Electronic City isn’t just another metro stop; it’s the pulse of Bengaluru’s IT industry. Nestled near Konappana Agrahara and Doddathogur, this area is home to around 200 company campuses, including giants like Infosys, Wipro, TCS, HCL, Tech Mahindra, and Biocon. Whether you’re an IT professional or a visitor, you’ll find plenty to do. Unwind at popular pubs like Gilly’s Restobar or What The Ale! For a more refined dining experience, check out The Hidden Home Fine Dining & Bar or House Of Commons. And for your everyday needs, the Village Hypermarket has you covered.

Life in Electronic City offers a blend of modern living and convenience, even though it’s a bit removed from the city’s mainstream hustle. The arrival of the Yellow Line Metro will soon enhance this connectivity, making it easier than ever to travel across Bengaluru.

For those preferring rail travel, the nearest stations are Heelalige, 8 km away, and Karmelaram, 14 km away. Plus, the Electronic City bus stand is conveniently located right across the road from the metro station, providing yet another layer of accessibility.

For local travellers, the fare to Electronic City Metro Station will be easy on the wallet, ranging from Rs. 10 to Rs. 60. Trains will run from 5 am to 11 pm, offering flexibility for early risers and night owls alike. As for the facilities, details about parking, feeder buses, and restrooms are still being finalized.
