Manjunath Nagar is an elevated metro station located on the North-South corridor of the Green Line of Namma Metro in Bangalore, India. Strategically situated along the Bengaluru-Nelamangala Expressway (NH-75), this station provides vital connectivity between the bustling city of Bengaluru and the town of Nelamangala, Karnataka.
The metro line’s extension from Madavara to Nagasandra reached a major milestone with a successful trial run conducted on August 6, 2024. After receiving the green light from the Commissioner of Metro Railway Safety (CMRS) on October 4, 2024, the section officially opened to the public on November 7, 2024. A formal inauguration is planned for a later date, marking this expansion as a significant addition to the city’s growing metro network.
