This will be the first travelator of its kind for Namma Metro, enhancing the connectivity at this busy junction.

Looking ahead, the Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) envisions transforming Silk Board Junction into a major transport hub. The plans include establishing two bus stations, two-wheeler parking facilities, pick-up and drop-off bays, and multi-level parking infrastructure. With fare ranging from Rs. 10 to Rs. 60, and trains running from 5 am to 11 pm, it caters to both early risers and night owls.
