Alandur Metro Station is an elevated station on the Blue Line (Corridor 1) of Chennai Metro. It opened on 2016-09-21. It is a major elevated interchange where the Blue Line and the Green Line cross on two levels.
Alandur Metro Station — Line and Route
The Blue Line runs between Wimco Nagar Depot and Chennai International Airport. From Alandur, the previous station is Guindy and the next station is OTA Nanganallur Road. On this line, trains run from about 5:00 AM to 11:00 PM (Sundays from about 5:00 AM), every 6 minutes in peak hours and 7 minutes off-peak.
