The Yellow Line runs between Poonamallee Bypass and Vadapalani. From Kattupakkam, the previous station is Kumananchavadi and the next station is Iyyapanthangal. On this line, trains run from 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM, every 10 minutes in peak hours (8–11 AM, 5–8 PM) and 15 minutes off-peak; on Sundays it is a flat 15 minutes.
