Koyambedu Metro Station is an elevated station on the Green Line (Corridor 2) of Chennai Metro. It opened on 2015-06-29.

Koyambedu Metro Station — Line and Route

The Green Line runs between Chennai Central and St. Thomas Mount. From Koyambedu, the previous station is Thirumangalam and the next station is Puratchi Thalaivi Dr. J. Jayalalithaa CMBT. On this line, trains run from about 5:00 AM to 11:00 PM, every 12 minutes in peak hours and 14 minutes off-peak (the Central–Alandur stretch gets extra inter-corridor trains, so effective frequency there is 6–7 minutes). Koyambedu Metro Station Entry and Exit Gates

The station has 5 entry and exit points: Gate A — towards Towards Maduravoyal / Poonamalle; Gate B — towards Koyambedu Omni Bus Stand; Gate C — towards CMRL Depot / Admin Building; Gate D — towards Towards Kurungaleeswarar Temple; Gate E — towards Rohini Theatre.
