Arumbakkam Metro Station is an elevated station on the Green Line (Corridor 2) of Chennai Metro. It opened on 2015-06-29.

Arumbakkam Metro Station — Line and Route

The Green Line runs between Chennai Central and St. Thomas Mount. From Arumbakkam, the previous station is Puratchi Thalaivi Dr. J. Jayalalithaa CMBT and the next station is Vadapalani. On this line, trains run from about 5:00 AM to 11:00 PM, every 12 minutes in peak hours and 14 minutes off-peak (the Central–Alandur stretch gets extra inter-corridor trains, so effective frequency there is 6–7 minutes). The station has 4 entry and exit points: Gate A — towards HDFC Bank; Gate B — towards Aishwarya Mahal; Gate C — towards HDFC Bank; Gate D — towards SV High School Arumbakkam.
