Teynampet Metro Station is an underground station on the Blue Line (Corridor 1) of Chennai Metro. It opened on 2018-05-25.

Teynampet Metro Station — Line and Route

The Blue Line runs between Wimco Nagar Depot and Chennai International Airport. From Teynampet, the previous station is AG-DMS and the next station is Nandanam. On this line, trains run from about 5:00 AM to 11:00 PM (Sundays from about 5:00 AM), every 6 minutes in peak hours and 7 minutes off-peak. Teynampet Metro Station Entry and Exit Gates

The station has 4 entry and exit points: Gate A — towards Eldams Road; Gate A — towards Pondy Bazar; Gate B — towards Cenotaph Road; Gate B — towards Metro Parking.
