Washermenpet Metro Station is an underground station on the Blue Line (Corridor 1) of Chennai Metro. It opened on 2019-02-10.

Washermenpet Metro Station — Line and Route

The Blue Line runs between Wimco Nagar Depot and Chennai International Airport. From Washermenpet, the previous station is Sir Theagaraya College and the next station is Mannadi. On this line, trains run from about 5:00 AM to 11:00 PM (Sundays from about 5:00 AM), every 6 minutes in peak hours and 7 minutes off-peak. Washermenpet Metro Station Entry and Exit Gates

The station has 4 entry and exit points: Gate A — towards Suburban Railway Station; Gate A — towards Dakshinamoorthy Kovil; Gate B — towards Mint Bus Terminus.
