Goraguntepalya Metro Station — Green Line, Namma Metro

Goraguntepalya Metro Station is an elevated station on the Green Line of Namma Metro in Bengaluru, at Goraguntepalya. The Green Line runs north to south from Madavara to Silk Institute across 32 stations, linking Tumkur Road, Malleshwaram, the old city markets and Kanakapura Road. It opened on 2014-03-01.

The station sits at the Goraguntepalya junction on Tumkur Road, with five entry and exit points — the most of any Green Line station — serving the bus stop, Taj Yeshwanthpur and the surrounding commercial area.

The station has two platforms. Platform 1 serves trains towards Madavara; Platform 2 serves trains towards Silk Institute. The Green Line interchanges with the Purple Line at Nadaprabhu Kempegowda (Majestic) and with the Yellow Line at Rashtreeya Vidyalaya Road for Electronic City.

Goraguntepalya Metro Station Timings

Green Line services run from about 5:00 am on weekdays and Saturdays and 7:00 am on Sundays, with the last train at about 11:00 pm. Trains run every 4 to 4.5 minutes at peak and every 7 to 8 minutes off peak. BMRCL notes that additional trains may be run from selected intermediate stations when travel demand rises, and that train times can change for planned works.
