Konappana Agrahara Metro Station — Yellow Line, Namma Metro

Konappana Agrahara Metro Station is an elevated station on the Yellow Line of Namma Metro in Bengaluru, located at Electronic City. The Yellow Line runs 19.15 km from Rashtreeya Vidyalaya Road to Bommasandra, largely along Hosur Road, across 16 fully elevated stations. It was inaugurated on 10 August 2025 and opened to passengers the following day, built at a cost of about Rs 7,610 crore.

Officially renamed Infosys Foundation Konappana Agrahara, this is the station for the Electronic City IT hub itself, including the Infosys campus. The naming is the single most common source of confusion on the Yellow Line: this station, not the one called Electronic City, is the one most tech workers want.

The station has 2 platforms. Platform 1 serves trains towards Rashtreeya Vidyalaya Road; Platform 2 serves trains towards Delta Electronics Bommasandra. RV Road is the only working interchange on the line, where you can change to the Green Line for Jayanagar, Majestic and Silk Institute, and at Majestic onward to the Purple Line for MG Road and Whitefield. Two further interchanges are planned: the Pink Line at Jayadeva Hospital and the Blue Line at Central Silk Board.

Konappana Agrahara Metro Station Timings

Yellow Line services generally begin around 6:00 am from Tuesday to Saturday, 5:05 am on Mondays and 7:00 am on Sundays, with the last train leaving Rashtreeya Vidyalaya Road at about 11:55 pm. Parking at Konappana Agrahara Metro Station

BMRCL provides parking for 77 two-wheelers and 10 cycles. There is no car parking at this station, which is typical of the Yellow Line. Charges are Rs 15 for the first four hours for two-wheelers and Rs 30 for a full day; Rs 30 for the first four hours for cars and Rs 60 for a full day. Cycle parking is free. Overnight parking is not permitted.

The station is step-free and wheelchair accessible, with lift and escalator access between street, concourse and platform levels, and CCTV coverage throughout.
