Mahalakshmi Metro Station — Green Line, Namma Metro

Mahalakshmi Metro Station is an elevated station on the Green Line of Namma Metro in Bengaluru, at Mahalakshmi Layout. The Green Line runs north to south from Madavara to Silk Institute across 32 stations, linking Tumkur Road, Malleshwaram, the old city markets and Kanakapura Road. It opened on 2014-03-01.

The station serves Mahalakshmi Layout, with the ISKCON Temple on Chord Road and Srinivasa Temple both close by.

The station has two platforms. Platform 1 serves trains towards Madavara; Platform 2 serves trains towards Silk Institute. The Green Line interchanges with the Purple Line at Nadaprabhu Kempegowda (Majestic) and with the Yellow Line at Rashtreeya Vidyalaya Road for Electronic City.

The station has 3 entry and exit points: Gate A — Towards Srinivasa Temple side; Gate B — Towards KG Ground side; Gate C — Towards ISKCON Temple side.

Green Line services run from about 5:00 am on weekdays and Saturdays and 7:00 am on Sundays, with the last train at about 11:00 pm. Trains run every 4 to 4.5 minutes at peak and every 7 to 8 minutes off peak. BMRCL notes that additional trains may be run from selected intermediate stations when travel demand rises, and that train times can change for planned works.
