LIC Metro Station is an underground station on the Blue Line (Corridor 1) of Chennai Metro. It opened on 2019-02-10.

LIC Metro Station — Line and Route

The Blue Line runs between Wimco Nagar Depot and Chennai International Airport. From LIC, the previous station is Government Estate and the next station is Thousand Lights. On this line, trains run from about 5:00 AM to 11:00 PM (Sundays from about 5:00 AM), every 6 minutes in peak hours and 7 minutes off-peak. LIC Metro Station Entry and Exit Gates

The station has 4 entry and exit points: Gate A — towards Yes Bank; Gate A — towards Pass Port Office; Gate B — towards SBI Main Branch; Gate B — towards TNEB.
