Nagawara Metro Station — Interchange Station, Namma Metro

Nagawara Metro Station is an underground interchange station on Namma Metro in Bengaluru, serving the Pink Line, with the Blue Line planned. This station has not yet opened to passengers.

Nagawara will be the northern terminus of the Pink Line, on the Outer Ring Road. The last of the nine tunnel boring machines used on the Pink Line, named Bhadra, broke through here in 2024, completing tunnelling on the corridor.

Changing Lines at Nagawara Metro Station

Nagawara will be the northern terminus of the Pink Line and is planned as the interchange with the Blue Line towards Kempegowda International Airport. Neither line has opened. The Pink Line’s underground Phase 2 section from Dairy Circle to Nagawara is targeted for December 2026; the Blue Line has no confirmed date. No service runs from this station today.

Namma Metro’s working interchanges today are Nadaprabhu Kempegowda (Majestic) between the Purple and Green Lines, and Rashtreeya Vidyalaya Road between the Green and Yellow Lines. Further interchanges are built or planned at Mahatma Gandhi Road (Pink), Jayadeva Hospital (Pink), Central Silk Board (Blue), Nagawara (Blue) and Peenya (Orange), none of which are in service yet.
