Sir M. Visveshwaraya Metro Station is an underground station on the Purple Line of Namma Metro in Bengaluru, at Central College. The Purple Line is the network’s east-west corridor, running 43.49 km from Whitefield in the north-east to Challaghatta in the south-west across 37 stations. It is the oldest line on the network: its first section opened on 20 October 2011. Sir M. Visveshwaraya Metro Station opened on 2016-04-30.

The station has two platforms. Platform 1 serves trains towards Whitefield; Platform 2 serves trains towards Challaghatta. The Purple Line interchanges with the Green Line at Nadaprabhu Kempegowda (Majestic), from where you can reach Jayanagar, Silk Institute and Madavara, and connect onward to the Yellow Line at Rashtreeya Vidyalaya Road for Electronic City. Mahatma Gandhi Road is the planned interchange with the Pink Line.
